E: dfromm@greenstonecap.comDerek founded the Greenstone Group of Companies in 1999, providing corporate advisory services to clients in regulated industries including electricity, water/wastewater utilities, and logistics services involving airports and marine terminal and fueling infrastructure.
In 2011, Derek co-founded Greenstone Renewables as a pure-play renewable energy infrastructure development firm. In 2014, through Greenstone Clean Fuels, he expanded the scope of infrastructure project development to alternative fuels, including biofuels, LNG, and water-electrolytic (solar PV) hydrogen and derivatives.
Prior to founding Greenstone, Derek was executive director at UBS Investment Bank in London. Derek began his career as a corporate and transportation-equipment finance lawyer at Haight Gardner (now Holland & Knight) in New York.
Derek holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD-equivalent law degree from Leyden University.
