Founded in 1999, the Principal and Designated Broker of O’Connor Commercial is Brian Day O’Connor. Brian began his commercial real estate career in Phoenix in 1981, working in national development firms and a national brokerage company.

Brian seeks entrepreneurial niche real estate and investment opportunities across a diverse range of real estate product types and varied business sectors. He specializes in the sale/acquisition of businesses and as a private capital investment source. Range of business types include owner operator businesses with stabilized operations often include business real estate to early-stage technology opportunities. Typical early-stage investments include intellectual property for competitive market advantage. Included is the energy sector (upstream, midstream and downstream) hydrogen and an environmentally friendly tech alternative to hydraulic fracturing. The medical device industry has been another field of investment.

Brian is a fifth-generation Arizona native and a graduate of The Colorado College. Beyond his business accomplishments, Brian’s interests have included:

Civics Education Initiative; O’Connor Institute; Graduate and Alumni Association FBI Citizens Academy; Captain Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse, 19 years, retired; US Marshals Posse, District of Arizona; Licensed Private Pilot, retired; Expert Rated Competition Skydiver since 1977, including significant base jumps; Adventurer and Mountaineer including reaching the Summit of the Highest Mountain in each of the Seven Continents, North Pole, Titanic and many others.
